Fighting Measure Martial Arts

Jason

Jason Clarke is a passionate martial artist and the current instructor for the Beginner’s Muay Thai class at Fighting Measure Martial Arts (FMMA). With over a decade of experience, Jason brings a deep respect for the discipline and a steady commitment to growth — both as a student and a teacher.

He began training in Muay Thai in 2013 and has worked his way up to Advanced Level 2 at FMMA. Under the mentorship of Khru Daniel, he is also a 1st Year Associate Instructor, actively developing his instructional skills while continuing to sharpen his own technique.

Jason’s dedication extends beyond the walls of the studio. He proudly represented Barbados as a member of the Muay Thai National Team as recently as 2024 — a testament to his skill, resilience, and work ethic. In 2019, he stepped into the ring for his amateur debut at Battle of the Paradise IX, where he held his own in a closely contested match that ended in a draw.

His approach to teaching is grounded in strong fundamentals, discipline, and respect. Known for his calm presence and steady leadership, Jason fosters an inclusive and motivating environment where beginners feel supported as they build confidence and skill in the art of Muay Thai.

Whether on the mats or in the ring, Jason remains a student first — always learning, always growing, and always eager to help others do the same.
